Art Studio Associate

As an Art Studio Associate, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and assisting customers in their experience creating art. Your ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide product knowledge will contribute to a positive experience. Strong organizational and cleaning skills are essential. Experience in the arts is required. Ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of art forms, would have some teaching/leading experience, and be willing to teach art classes and parties to groups of all ages. Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Excellent customer service.

• Assist customers in selecting and completing art projects.

• Instruct classes for all ages.

• Package orders.

• Handle customer checkout properly and follow our procedures.

• Keep the studio spotless.

• Keep shelves stocked and monitor inventory.

• Maintain a clean, professional appearance.

• Contribute to the team environment with a positive attitude and friendliness.

• Host parties of all ages.

• Assist in social media content creation.

• Age 18+

• Outgoing and friendly personality. Positive vibes!

• Loves working with children.

• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.

• Organizational and cleaning skills to maintain a tidy studio.

• Previous experience in art and pottery making.

• Reliability.

• Can lift 30lbs +

• Walking, bending, squatting, lifting, standing on feet for long periods.

 

​This position is part-time, as needed, and the schedule may vary week to week. We are primarily looking for weekend availability (Friday 4-8, Saturday 10-8, Sunday 12-5) but there is opportunity for hours to increase as the demand of our studio increases and as we add classes and parties to our schedule.
