​​​​​​​Guest Teaching Artists​

Do you have an art or craft skill that you are an expert at and would like to share your knowledge with others? The Color House is always looking for new classes to add to our calendar. As a guest teaching artist, you would work as an independent contractor and teach an art class to a group of up to 20 people. Most classes last between 1-2 hours.

Expectations for Guest Teaching Artists:

Adequately prepare for your class.

Coordinate with the studio regarding any material needs.

Arrive early to set up your class.

Guide the class through your project.

Stay within the class timing.

Friendly and fun personality.

Clean up all materials and mess from your class session.

 

Some examples of classes: acrylic painting, watercolor, hand-building with clay, pottery wheel, craft projects, illustration, drawing. We encourage additional art forms too.
