About The Color House
The Color House (or as we have come to call it, The CoHo) was created as a place for community to connect with their creativity. Founded by former public school art teacher and artist Tina Parsadanov, she wanted to create a fun and cozy place where people of all ages could come to learn and practice all sorts of creative visual arts. It started as a small pottery studio in the basement of her home and has become a beautiful loft studio in the 1850's Hayward Carriage House on the Colchester green above the very popular Oz'NBones BBQ restaurant. Visitors can grab a delicious meal and drink at the first floor restaurant and head on up to the studio to create art or shop the local artisan goodies that grace the space. The CoHo offers walk-in paint your own pottery, a small artisan shop, and classes in pottery/ceramics, canvas painting, and several other hand crafts. The CoHo also holds open studio sessions where anyone can come to work on their own individual projects. The Color House is all about celebrating the arts and our shop is no different. You'll find a variety of items from artisan wares like pottery and jewelry to art supplies and art themed goodies. Come on up and check us out! We hope you visit us soon!
This is the Hayward Carriage House, the gorgeous building that houses the studio space. The CoHo is located on the 2nd floor. Enter through the front door and you'll see the staircase in front of you a little to the right. Come on up!
