About The Color House
The Color House (or as we have come to call it, The CoHo) was created as a place for community to connect with their creativity. Founded by public school art teacher and artist Tina Parsadanov, she wanted to create a fun and cozy place where people of all ages could come to learn and practice all sorts of creative visual arts. It started as a small pottery studio in the basement of her home and has become a beautiful brick and mortar storefront in the Westchester section of Colchester, CT. The CoHo offers walk-in paint-your-own pottery, a small artisan shop, and classes in pottery/ceramics, canvas painting, and several other crafts. The CoHo also offers an open studio membership where members can come to work on projects like pottery or canvas painting 24/7. The Color House is all about celebrating the arts and our shop is no different. You'll find a variety of items from artisan wares including pottery, jewelry, and fun little gifts. Come on over and check us out! We hope you visit us soon.

About The Artists
Tina
Tina Parsadanov is a ceramic artist whose signature style reflects a love of vivid color and drippy, expressive glaze effects. Working primarily in functional ware, she focuses on creating pieces that enhance everyday life by bringing beauty and a sense of discovery to practical forms. Her practice is driven by experimentation and an excitement for uncovering what clay, glaze, and fire can reveal. Tina holds a bachelors degree in art and a masters in education and previously taught ceramics and interdisciplinary art in public schools. After a hospitalization for a chronic illness that temporarily impaired her vision, balance, and cognitive function, she returned to clay—one of the few mediums she could still navigate without sight—and found it central to her healing. This experience shaped her commitment to making art accessible and restorative for others. She is the founder of The Color House, a community art and pottery studio where she leads workshops and classes designed to help people reconnect with their inner creativity and the grounding nature of making.

Ella
Ella is one of The Color House studio associates who also spends time as a nail artist. She is well known for her highly detailed, intricately composed designs. Drawing inspiration from surrealism and the natural world, she often tells miniature visual stories across a set of nails, with each finger featuring its own distinct motif. Her work reflects a love of precision, concentration, and the pursuit of perfection in fine detail.
Ella is currently a student at the University of Connecticut and plans to pursue a career in dentistry. She also works at The Color House as a studio associate, where she supports customers in achieving their painting and design goals. Her artistic practice and studio work deepen her appreciation for dexterity, aesthetics, and meticulous craftsmanship—skills she intends to bring into her future profession.
