During regular hours, The Color House is open for walk-in creative sessions. These sessions are first come first serve. Creative sessions are self-led but we are always available for questions as you work on your piece. You select what you'd like to make and we will provide all of the materials you need to create a masterpiece. Prices range based on the project you select and the amount of time you'd like to spend in the studio. Feel free to purchase food or drink at the restaurant downstairs and bring it on up! Reservations are not required but are recommended during busy times such as Fridays and Saturdays.

~ Paint Your Own Pottery ~  

Includes the use of brushes, glazes, and firing of your finished piece. Paint your own pottery pricing depends on the piece you select and includes your choice of colored glazes and firing. Unlimited painting time included in the price of the piece. Prices of the pieces range from $10 - $60.

~ Glass Painting ~ 

Includes the use of brushes, paints, and materials. Choose from a variety of glass options from wine glasses to tumblers, vases, bottles, and even glass panels for a stained glass style decoration. Glass is cured at home in your oven and is safe for use and washing after curing.

Glass Projects Cost:

Drinking Glasses = $20 each

Bottles = $30 each

Glass Panels = $20

Add cork with fairy lights for inside bottles +$5

~ Canvas Painting ~

Choose from our collection of painting tutorials or create a masterpiece of your own. Includes use of in-studio creative materials including brushes, use of an easel (choice of sit down or stand up), use of all in-studio craft materials and tools, use of all in-studio paints (acrylic & watercolor), pencils, markers, pastels, and other materials.

Canvas painting projects cost:

16x20 = $30

11x14 = $25

8x10 = $20.

~ Seasonal Wreath Making ~

Includes use of in-studio wreath making materials including a base plus choice of 5 add-on items for decorating your wreath (florals, ribbons, bows, accessories, etc) Choose between grapevine wreath base, wire frame base, single wire base, or foam base. Wreaths cost:

$38 each including everything listed above.

Additional decorative add-ons may be purchased for $3 each.

~ Dream Catcher Making ~

Includes use of in-studio creative materials including a doily, a hoop, strings and ribbons, fabrics, feathers, beads, brushes, paints, glitter, and use of all in-studio craft materials and tools needed to create your own unique dream catcher.

Dream Catchers Cost:

$20 small

$25 medium

$30 large.

~ Clay Hand Building ~

Includes up to 1lb of clay, use of all pottery hand building tools, and up to 2 hours of studio time (including last 15 min for clean up). Cost is $25 per up to 2 hour session. Additional work time may be added on to your session and can be purchased at a rate of $4/half hour. Additional clay may be purchased at the current rates listed below. Price includes bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing.

~ Pottery Wheel Rental ~

Available to those who have taken a pottery wheel class at The Color House. This session includes 2 hours total (including last 15 min for clean up), use of all tools, and up to 3lbs of clay. The cost is $35 per 2 hour session. Additional wheel time may be added on to your session and can be purchased at a rate of $5/half hour. Additional clay may be purchased at the current rates listed below. Firings and glazing are additional and can be purchased at the rates listed below. For ages 8+.

~ Creative Space Rental ~

Perfect for those who just need a space to create but already have their own materials. Talk to Tina ahead of time about the materials you would like to bring in and reserve your space to create. Most items are welcome but there are a few exceptions so check with us first. Space rental cost is $8 per person per hour.

~ Seasonal Projects ~

Our seasonal craft projects change throughout the year and include a variety of projects for all ages. Currently we are offering windchime painting (for kids) $10, plastic character suncatcher painting (for kids) $10, wreath making (ages 12+) $40, birdhouse painting $15 each, and rock painting (all ages) $5 each.
