Open Hours Studio Membership includes:

 

• Studio access and use during any of our open hours with reservation.

• Use of the studio's art tools.

• Unlimited use of pottery wheels with reservation.

• Exclusive access to member's only glaze collection, underglazes, and specialty tools.

• Use of studio's glazes for pieces you create in studio during active membership.

• Bisque and Glaze firings of pieces created during active membership in allotted kiln space.

• 5lbs of clay per month or 5 canvases if you're a painter.

• Full access to our collection of hundreds of painting tutorials.

• Full access to our paid clay education resource.​

• Special discounted members' pricing for clay.

• 10% off all classes.

• 10% off paint your own pottery bisque and other store merchandise.

• Special member's only events, workshops, and opportunities.

***PLEASE NOTE: Membership covers the full cycle of creating, glazing, and firing DURING the active and paid membership period. Once the membership ends, you no longer have access to member benefits, including glazing and firing, unless you renew or pay separately for those services. Those rates are listed below.

Open Hours Studio Membership Pricing:

• Monthly Rate: $125/month ($375 minimum of 3 months)

• 6 Month Rate paid up front: $675 + tax (saves 10%)

• Annual Rate paid up front: $1125 + tax (saves 25%)

Additional Clay may be purchased through The Color House for the current discounted member's only rate. Currently that rate is $7.00/lb and is subject to change. All clay must be purchased through The Color House. Clay may not be brought into The Color House from another source. The Color House will not fire clay purchased elsewhere. Clay rate includes clay only. Glazing and firing is only included while membership is active and if within the monthly allotted kiln space which is one shelf 2' diameter round or up to 15 small pieces (see size guide below). If clay is purchased during membership but then membership is canceled before firing and/or glazing, please refer to the non-member rates below for finishing your piece.

Piece Size Guide:

Small (all dimensions smaller than 4")

Medium (any dimension between 4-8", counts as 2 pieces)

Large (any dimension between 8-12", counts as 3 pieces)

XL (any dimension between 12-15", counts as 4 pieces)

We will not fire any piece over 15" in any direction

Please note that we fire at cone 06 for bisque fires and at cone 6 for stoneware glaze fires.

Non-Member & Member Overage Current Rates for Clay, Glazing, and Firing:

Bisque Firing: $.06/cubic inch

Glazing & Glaze Firing: $.10/cubic inch

Take-Out Clay including 2 firings and glazing: $15/lb

Member Clay Rate: $7/lb
